I have a 6 day conference to attend with AYC starting on the 30th in Pattaya, the hotel looks amazing so cant wait to start that. I have also started speaking to a few people on here to meet up with in Bangkok before we go down to Pattaya which should be good. After that they tell us where we will be based. I have asked for the coast as i would love to be by the sea but i will take anything as long as it is not Bangkok.
I am looking forward to it now, just so much to sort out and do. You should just apply for a couple of jobs and see what happens! I dont think you need all the experience that everyone likes to think that you do. Look at me?!? I hardly have any qualifications or that much experience and they still excepted me. I will be have more money in Thailand than I do in the UK because of the cost of living out there!

Hi Jade!
Congratulations!! You must be so pleased :-)
The next steps to take are to complete your post course questionnaires and save any work you feel you may like to refer back to. (Completing the post course questionnaire will log in our system that you have completed your course.)

Hope this helps but feel free to message me if this doesn’t make sense.
Thanks,

Hiya,
I really want to go, but I'm thinking the same as you - maybe wait for the price to go down a bit. But I would definitely want to teach somewhere faraway and immerce myself in a completely different culture (-:
Take care,

Hello Jade (-:
I see you went on the Manchester course; reading your entry made me really excited about going! Mine is on the 21st and 22nd of April at the Jury's Inn - Manchester and simply can't wait now!
Have you applied for the Thailand Internship then? Hope to hear from you soon xXx
I am good thanks, getting there with the grammer course! trying to finish it before i leave. I have also got a thai spercific one to do but i have a 6 day seminer in Thailand when i get there so dont really need that one now.
I havent sold the car yet, we buy any car are going to get it i think just need the cash now! Other than that preperations are going well, allmost moved out of my house. I have a every growing pile of bits that i need to remember to pack and no matter how much i tidy my house it never looks clean because of the piles :-)
How long are you putting off travelling for now? As i write this i am in bed because i have had to call in work because i cant get there due to snow! i am looking forward to a few weeks when this wont be a problem anymore! Hope you get to go travelling at some point in the not too distant future!

I now have 10 days left till i fly to Thailand!!!! am soooo excited, nevous and have so much to do all at the same time!
Let me know if you make it out to Thailand in the near future it would be good to catch up on a sunny beach somewhere instead of mcdonalds manchester :-)

Hey yeah it's good to talk to other people who are doing it - I definitely underestimated how hench the course was going to be! I thought I'd just whip through it in odd sessions here and there but you do need to really dedicate some time to it - worth it though, I actually feel like I might have have half a chance of actually teaching people something now! I'm doing the May internship in Thailand and then I'm going to try and do a year in South Korea. What are your plans? :)
