I really wish someone from Indonesia would get back to me. It's been 20 days since I sent my application. How long were people waiting in general to get a reply from a school?

Hey Denise,
I wouldn't jump the gun just yet! I've had a check of your account and you sent your documents in on 10th Jan - you should hear back within 28 days of this date, so by the end of the week or so.
If you don't hear back, please email the TEFL jobs team at tefljobteam@i-to-i.com.
Good luck!
Well spotted, Time!..Denise I would say to make other applications, as to give yourself more options.
Thanks people for getting back to me. I'm beginning to think that maybe ignorance was bliss. I was really hoping to hear something more positive. Maybe I could try again? Can or even should I do that? Or is it a lost cause at this stage.
I also noticed on a lot of the advertisements there are footnotes which say 'Please note: only short listed candidates with be contacted'.
I was told that I would be having a phone interview on Wedenesday at 10.30am - they never called. Try again? :)
I applied for the Indonesian placement, but it's been over 28 days so I guess it's a no goer!. I do understand they (prospective employers) need time to get back in touch but if they are not interested in certain applicants they should inform rather than letting the clock run out!
Try resending it. It could have got lost in 'the black hole'.
Good luck.
