Hello all! Im Denise. I'm from Ireland and while I love my country...I need to get out of it for a bit! I just need someone to say "yes". I'm currently in the process of doing the 140hour course.

Right, so I'm just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with English First Jakarta? I've got a sample contract to look over for a school in Kalimalang, but I'd like to hear from anyone who was/is there just to get a better view on the place. I'm aware that it's a bit away from central jakarta...and that's about it! The contract seems ok but has anyone worked in that school? Any details are appreciated...

20 Hour weekend done. Well worth it! I met great people! ye all know who ye are!! I hope they take up my advice to get on this thing, as some of em weren't on Chalkboard. The weekend was tiring, but mostly great fun. I laughed so much!! If only I was as enthusiastic bout the rest of the course.

Waiting over!Whoo hoo!!! I got an email today!! stating that I must email a school back with a suitable time for a "talk about the job"!!! This has uplifted me so much!!!
MESSAGE TO EVERYONE!! Do not give up hope. You will get something. Keep plugging. I know I don't have a job yet. But I know I am on the right road now.
I love it, 'I really want to travel. Simple as.' I hear ya sister!! Im just sooo mad to get away too!! I LOVE the idea of teaching AND TRAVELLING whilst earning some money :) Its the perfect thing really isnt it??
