Well I gave up looking for work as ESL teacher. To hard. BUT i did start my own centre and have a few students already and am picking up more all the time. http://realenglishlessons.webs.com/ is my web site. It is a work in progress but I am getting there. Next week it will be realenglishlessons.com once the domain registration comes through. I open a big centre in August and hope to have 50 students by then. I am working with some local businesses and schools who need their staff trained. So this all looks good so far.
I will keep you informed.

Hey just a word of warning.
Nt sure if I can name specific organisations on here but let me just say if you are thinking of working for an international school from singapore be very careful what you sign. I have met several teachers who have signed contracts and then found out they must do a full 12 months of service to get all their pay. A certain amount is held back each week and all the holiday pay etc is forfeit if you only do 3 months or so. they can also sack you with no reason and withhold pay. So if you plan on a summer school job. BEWARE. I believe that other schools try this but this seems to be the worst.
