I am looking to get out there and enjoy life and the world, see what it all has to offer and learn so much more along the way. After spending several years working in a job that is clearly going nowhere, I have decided I want to try combining two dreams into one and turning life completely upside-down!
After studying for a Degree in English, I have rarely had the chance to put my interest to use. Now I see the chance to teach English abroad as an amazing opportunity to do, see and experience everything I want. Simply looking through the photo's on here, you can see the joy that people have on their faces from living the life, so I although I'm only just getting to the stage of deciding this is what I want to do, the excitement is already building!
This could be the start of a whole new story, let's see where the adventure leads!

Log in to leave a comment or Create an accountHey! Hope you’re
progressing with the course esp the grammar sections! You have an English
degree so you should be fine dude! As with any study, I find a little often is
the way forward…I agree it is difficult combining the course with a full-time
job and life but you can always extend the course if you need to : o )
Hi there Cullano, just goy word I passed my first checkpoint great feeling, ready to move on down the road though know it will be more difficult, but bring it on, hope you are well , Tina
Hey, thanks for your message, good to see I'm not alone in this! I'm still getting to grips with this website, and trying to find everything! There's a lot of info to process, and after a long day at work, that's not always so easy to do! I'm enjoying what I've learnt so far though, just very cautious about making the right decisions, as there seems to be a lot of pitfalls. People seem really friendly and helpful, so first impressions are that this is something I'm to greatly enjoy! I'm going to read around for a few more days, and then decide what course I wish to take, especially as this is going to be done evenings and wkends, so it's something I have to fully commit myself to. The personal rewards make it all seem very worthwhile tho.
I'm sure you'l reach your dream, and if you ever need to share any concerns, feel free... I'll probably be having the same issues!!

hiya! i signed up about a week ago on the 140 hour course because since leaving uni with an english degree, and not being able to get on my chosen teaching course i found myself unemployed, i really want to teach in italy and im hoping that if i get my bum in gear i can get qualified and apply for jan 2012 positions for when people who have gone for a year decide they dont fancy it anymore... suits me fine because with a flat/boyfriend of 6 years(who cant come), and 2 cats i honestly dont feel comfortably going for more than 6 months anyway .... any questions about upto checkpoint 3 (i just passed that yesterday) ill happily help. stef :)
New to the world of TEFL. Looking to get some advice, meet some new people and hopefully embark on a new adventure in life. Could be a dramatically life-changing experience, and if you are afforded the opportunity to live life, whilst also reaching out and helping others, then what more could you ask for...??
