Hey guys! My name is Cristina. I was born in Romania, but lived my teenage years in beautiful New Zealand. I love adventure, people, travelling and good food. My passion is climbing, rock climbing in particular, although I do enjoy other types like alpine. At the moment Im completing the I-to-I 140 Hour TEFL Course. My main destination is France. I'd like to teach in Montpellier and Im also looking at starting a university degree there. I'd love to meet more TEFl-ers/teachers and share ideas and advice about teaching english.

Log in to leave a comment or Create an accountEastern Europe is wonderful. The summer has been great so far. Not so sure about teaching it. I'm taking my first job in August in Ukraine. You might be able to get the EU thing to work for you ... just might take some time, paperwork, and money. But definitely look into it. I'd also just ask the schools directly.
Good luck!
Hi Cristina France is great and a great place for teaching English. There are always people that need to learn, so if you can't get a proper job, I would advise you to register your own little business. I think there is a huge need to teach young children because they do so little in primary school. & I have created a website in French as a support for teachers and young students - you can see it at www.lartdelanglais.co.uk. Bon courage et bienvenue.
Welcome Cristina! My name is Christina. I'm from the States but living quite close to your home country. I'm in Serbia for now until August then I'm off to Ukraine. So why France? It might be a bit difficult to find work there if you do not already have a university degree, or EU citizenship. Good luck!!!
Hi Cristina. Nice to meet you. It's funny, my cousins are from Montpellier and both studied there! It's a great city, I love it. When are you hoping to go? Can I ask why you decided on the 140 hr course? I'm finding it difficult to decide! Are you doing combined or just online?
Love Noor
