Ahh! So my three hours of work on checkpoint three last night, still gave me a failed attempt.
Had to re-do many questions - mostly at the end of the checkpoint. Now that I look at the answers I gave, I realise that after three hours of hard work, my brain turned to mush and I didn't read the questions properly and didn't answer to my full potential.
Now that I've had a fresh look at the checkpoint this morning, I've realised how many silly mistakes I have made.
So, for those of you trying to complete checkpoint three, take my advice - save your work regulary and make sure you are wide awake and concentrating - especially when you're fed up after hours of work!! The last few questions aren't hard - but if you don't answer every part of the question, you won't be able to pass!
So hopefully I've learnt from my mistake, and all checkpoints in the future I'll make sure I am fully refreshed with a cup of coffee by my side!

Ah I just submitted my final one too - got so stuck on question 25.. but i passed so it was all okay! It's so hard though, I just want to get things finished, I hate leaving it! But then I get too tired! Lose lose situation mostly!! :L
Hey i just submitted my final attempt on checkpoint 3, good luck for yours i hope u pass
Thats exactly what happened to me too, when I reviewed it I could not beleive I had submitted it, you need to take breaks like they advice, I spent 8 hours on a few questions that day.
Thanks for the advice - just submitted my third attempt! Got stuck on question 25.. but when I sat down and thought about it.. and did a little research I think i've done enough to pass - HOPEFULLY!!!
For question 22 I wrote three definitions for a lake.. For example: It's a big body of fresh water, with land surrounding it. It is larger than a pond. People can swim in it. etc. Then I explained the word - it is a noun, with one syllable. Then I gave an example of the word in a sentence: "They went swimming in the lake".
Goodluck!

You have to do at least 3 definitions for q22. Think of what you can do in or near a lake, eg swim, sail and picnic.
Don't rush it, I don't know how many days you have left on your course but I remember I spent about 10 days on Checkpoint 3 before submitting it for review. Don't expect to complete it in one sitting or any assignment for that matter. Look at the days you have left and pace yourself accordingly. You would hate to fail just because you rushed it.
CheckpOint three is very hard I am stuck on q22 a lake. Can anyone give me any tips. I put a body of water large or small surrounded by land and that wasnt good enough.
