Living it up at the Far East Youth Hostel!

So,

 This past week has been great. There have been days where I am completely tired and don't want to get out of bed and others where I am out and about by 6 - I think my roomates love me (that is a joke). Today I was hanging around T'square, Forbidden city and the neighbourhood - I think I am going to head towards icecream. Today was one of my expensive days - I bought a stamp with my name in older chinese characters for 200kuai - esh "tai gue le". Although yesterday I bought a new phone for 350 kuai - it is nice :) I recommen if you do the Forbidden city that once you are done (go through the back entrance, which is through the gardens, which are beautiful, and head to your right and walk around the walls that way - beautiful street with lots of food, drink, and cabs if necessary. Great walk.

Far East was under a bit of construction recently to put in heating in the floors so I felt bad for those coming but to my surprise they finished within 3 days. :) The facilities are not 5 star but the neighbourhood and the workers here are fantastic. Plus it is close to Qianamen. I still recommend it.
