Hi, I've been teaching in Ecuador for a year now and I've loved it. You don't earn loads unless you can get good hours. Sometimes I've been really broke but recently I've done well... now I'm coming home but I'd stay longer if Iberia hadn't bullied me into buying a return ticket by refusing to let me on the plane without one. There aren't many schools that advertise online but out here there is plenty of work. I'd recommend a private institution simply because the scools start at 7 am and the kids have never heard of discipline. You might have to work around the visa restrictions, but it's easy, everyone manages somehow. I'd say it's well worth the experience, it's a great country.
Hi there,
Congratulations on finishing your degree! Spain's a good option and we actually know of a school that's looking for teachers to start this summer. You can get more info here: http://www.onlinetefl.com/summer-camps.
South America's also great - although I wouldn't recommend Argentina as a first choice as it can be very expensive. I'd opt for Mexico myself as there are loads of jobs there. Have a chat with Jack, who's teaching out there at the minute, if you want any more info:
