Job Hunting

So Christmas, New Year, my Birthday and my trip to Paris are all out of the way so now is when the job hunting begins.

I am looking for a job in China. Preferably a 6 month contract as I don't want to commit to a 12 month thing too soon in case I'm not good at it/don't feel like it's for me. If a 12 month contract is all that is available though I would happily apply for that. I ideally want to begin a job March/April time. I have looked at the placements on the i-to-i website but under the requirements it says that I need to have had my degree for at least 2 years. This has panicked me a little as I really wanted to do the placement through i-to-i (even though it's a 12 month contract) for my first experience. I have only been graduated for just over a year. Do you think that would matter?

Also are their any schools on here that you could recommend I look into?

Thanks!

Chloe

Thanks Erin, I have tried emailing the i-to-i team regarding applying for a placement but I haven't heard anything back from them. Any advice?

Hi Chloe,
I'd still urge you to consider applying for a placement as you are likely to still be considered and you've got nothing to lose!

Hi Chloe, I leave for China on Saturday and recently completed my job search. I wrote a blog post the other day about the job hunting steps I took - I've copied and pasted a link here as I thought it might be helpful while you are getting started with your job search. Best of luck :)
