Hello TEFL-ers!
I have avoided twitter like the plague due to severe lack of hours in the day and I just couldn't commit to another social network BUT since I decided on becoming a EFL teacher I find it an invaluable resource.
I read it about it on a web page somewhere, sorry I can't remember where. It told me to search TEFL/ESL/TESOL or anything you can think of and to follow. Only one problem with that is that they are not 'real' people they are websites/companies with twitter so.... I am hoping to add some real people on here to share ideas and advice. I made my account specifically for TEFL and if you have twitter and want to discuss tefl with me add me if you don't have twitter then ... What are you waiting for!!?:)
My twitter name is ChloeCLB.
I hope to see you there!

Hello!
I look after the @i_to_iTEFL account on Twitter (do follow and we'll gladly follow you back!) and it's great to see the amount of TEFL resources on Twitter, totally agree with Chloe.
I saw this helpful tweet the other day you might want to check out:
http://burcuakyol.com/2011/10/six-reasons-why-you-cannot-be-a-bad-teacher/
It's packed full of great resources! I LOVE Twitter!
It mentions an ELT chat that happens every Wednesday too which you can find by searching #ELTChat on Twitter. This is definitely something worth tuning in to if you can.
Don't forget we're @i_to_iTEFL :)
