About Me
I am 20 years old, lived in Andalucia, Spain since 2008. My spanish is quite good, not even close to fluency but I have enjoyed studying the language and the culture here although it was tough at times. I would love to move to the city and teach English to anyone who wants to learn. I started my TEFL course and so far so good! My aim is to travel around Europe teaching English as I go but I am starting with where I know - I'm so excited! This will be so much FUN! :D I have always wanted to teach and to travel and this way I can do both at the same time, hopefully meet some amazing people and get some memorable experiences along the way. Let's be honest no one does this to be rich but there's more to life than money. Is any one teaching / taught in Granada?? Chloe x

Hello TEFL-ers! I have avoided twitter like the plague due to severe lack of hours in the day and I just couldn't commit to another social network BUT since I decided on becoming a EFL teacher I find it an invaluable resource. I read it about it on a web page somewhere, sorry I can't remember where. It told me to search TEFL/ESL/TESOL or anything you can think of and to follow. Only one problem...

Time for a new journal entry I believe...Well, my ideas and plans keep evolving and changing. Does this happen to you?I think maybe it's to do with the fact that I am already in the foreign country I would like to teach so I keep going somewhere and thinking "OOOH I could get a job here!" I also have to keep my boyfriend in mind because I can't just say "He we're moving to Vietnam!"...

Welcome to Chalkboard. That's great you're interested in teaching English in Spain, what has interested you to TEFL?
