As you can guess, I love tea, but I also love foreign languages and I've had a dabble with many, but only got as far as learning German, Greek, Hindi, Urdu and now Italian of course. :) I am also a very creative person and I love making my own classroom materials which I hope to share with all you other lovely TEFLers out there! ^v^

Log in to leave a comment or Create an accountHi , Thank you for your advice about the Wall Street Institute. Could you give me more details about the schools in the south of Italy. Where did you work? Did you have a telephone interview? How long did the application process take.
Did the recruiter/ school help with finding accommodation?
All the best,
Ali
Hi ya, course is steadily moving along,im enjoying it, many thanks, talk to ya.Tess.x
Hi I just read the advice you gave Kristnccsu (When I talk about teaching abroad) that was great advice and inspiring, fair play to you.good wishes.t
Aw, that's really nice - you must have been doing a good job!
I only really need a tip of 30 words or so for the article I'm doing, but if you want to do a whole article to post on Chalkboard that would be amazing! Whichever you want really.
Look forward to seeing what you come up with :)
P.S. Also managed to post this comment as i-to-i - don't be alarmed if you get two alert mails!
Hey Lesley,
How's it going - you still teaching in Bari? I was just wondering whether you might be able to help me with something - I'm writing an article full of tips on finding TEFL jobs abroad independently and was wondering whether you'd be able to contribute a tip, as you're really experienced in this area. Just a short 30-word or so tip about how best to find jobs abroad would be wonderful!
Thanks!
No teaching yet for me unfortunately, but I'll make sure I put that right. Thoughts on LSF to come - look forward to more TEFL conversations to come in the near future...
Hey!
Long overdue thank you - I had an ace time at the LSF training camp and would just like to raise a cup of tea and say 'cheers!' It was you who tipped me off and guided me there so many, many thanks! :)
LOVE the green pillow. Truly divine!

I'm currently doing my 120 hour Tefl course and I'm looking at Teaching in Italy , can you give me any tips about getting work in Italy. According to some people it is difficult to get a job there , is this true ?
Thanks , Victorio Di Natale
hi there :)
i'm an American but live in Rome & would love to hear a bit about your teaching experiences in Italy, if you wouldn't mind sharing. :) I'm in the States on vacation but will be back at the end of July. Do the schools remain open in August?
Best,
Ashley
