Hola! I'm Mahtab. Certian people like to call me Maht, Tabby or Chaderella. I'm down with that. I'm just wrapping up my 120-hr TEFL course and want to kick-start my gap year(s) of teaching abroad, starting with China. Finished my degree in '09 and have been saving up for this awesome adventure ever since! Looking forward to meeting fellow TEFLers abroad soon! Hasta Luego!
Besos,M.

Are you looking to work in China?
Do you want to work with Kindergarten children?
Do you want a good Salary?
Do you want weekends off and two ½ days?
If you do, please contact me today. Our kindergarten needs teachers for the new semester starting September. We also have vacancies in our training centers. We are based in GuangZhou, Dongguan, and Foshan all in Guangdong Province, China.
Our school is called CIEO (Canadian International Education Organization)
If you want more details then please get in touch, If you know someone who might be interested then please forward this to them.
If you can’t start September don’t worry, you can still apply as we need teachers throughout the year!
All the best,
Robert
Hey Mahtab,
Sites like tefl.com and eslcafe.com are good places to start your job hunt. I know I mentioned it before, but you might also want to take another look at the China internship (http://www.onlinetefl.com/teaching-internships/china/) - Rozel took part in the programme and she's now having a great time teaching in Guangzhou: http://www.tefl-chalkboard.com/rozel09.
If Taiwan's your thing you might want to check out this article http://www.tefl-chalkboard.com/travel-guides/197-Top-Three-Tips-for-Teaching-in-Taiwan- and also get in touch with Heidi who wrote it for her advice about the best places to find jobs, as she's something of an expert about teaching in Taiwan: http://www.tefl-chalkboard.com/heidibriones
Good luck!
Congratulations! Have you thought anymore about where you'd like to teach?
Today, at 14:30 hrs, I submitted my last online specialist module for the 120 hour TEFL course. Pending final feedback, I am now officially ready to start teaching!!

Hey Mahtab
Thanks for your message - that's cool you're going to be heading to Iran - sounds really exciting - you'll have to keep us posted with how it goes. I'd say what you go for in terms of TEFL jobs totally depends on your situation. The China internship in August will give you more support to get you settled into life in China (everything's all arranged for you and you get free food and accommodation). With the placement it's more about helping you find a job, so you don't get all the other support around it, but it's free of course so has that advantage! If you're interested in Indonesia you should get in touch with Robert Clarke, who works there and went through our placement service: http://www.tefl-chalkboard.com/robertclarke
Good luck with it all and if you have any more questions feel free to get in touch!
Hi Chadry,
Thanks for the add and welcome to Chalkboard - that's cool you're going to be heading to China - have you got a job all lined up yet?
