Hey,
I'm Cat:) Just thinking of doing the TEFL course and undecided on whether to do it before leaving or do a more in-country style course. I guess there are advantages and disadvantages of both:) I'm not really bothered where I go in the world; I just know I want to experience living and working in another culture. China and Thailand seem to be heading it at the moment though I very much like Vietnam and Thailand:) I want to get away and make a difference. I have just lost my job and feel it is an ideal time to go and do this. Something I have thought about since travelling for 3 months last year:) The idea of teaching is appealing as it is a new challenge and makes a big difference from my current vocation which is social work/therapy. I'm not sure teaching is for me but I really want to give it a go and feel it's a great way of travelling round the world, whilst making that difference:) Don't know too much about grammar but I guess I will soon LOL!!
