I can definitely relate! Grad school gives me awful and long hours, so I mostly did my course on the weekend and holidays. Add to the fact that I went on a month long vacation out of the country and it definitely was a time crunch! I think if you can at least aim for an hour or so a few nights a week and a couple of hours one day of the weekend you should be fine if your grasp of English grammar and things aren't too rusty. Mine, with specialist courses, added up to 130 hours, but actually took much less time than that to complete. So my suggestion would be to schedule out those hours you are going to do in your course and stick to them. If you get ahead of schedule then you can skip a few nights to catch up on other things, and get a feel for the course. Some sections are much harder or easier depending on your strengths and background. But I think we all make time for the things we really want to do, so if you want it, you'll make time!
I am wondering how did you manage your study time? I work full time 9-5 week days so it's a bit scary to go ahead and pay for a course that I might not have time to do. Any suggestions?
Kitzy :)
