Checkpoint Four...

Finally got checkpoint four out of the way. This is the first checkpoint that I had to redo a few questions but only because I didn't read the question properly. I think I can fairly say that I am starting to get the hang of all this teaching business and I feel much more confident about it. I feel like I am able to actually plan lessons, I just want to make sure I am creative and I keep the student's interested and occupied throughout the lesson and they like me as a teacher. Nothing worse than having student's moan and complain that they don't enjoy your lessons... I think that's my biggest nightmare!

I really need to crack on with the rest of the course though as I leave in 13 days and ideally I want to have it all complete before I leave...

Only got one more checkpoint, 28 grammar exercises and 4 specialist modules to do... Not worried in the slightest! </sarcasm>

hello chaps

I submitted CP4 and have to redo question 10. It's stressing me out a bit because I think I'm overcomplicating it for myself.. I've basically chosen Parklife by Blur as my song that contains a verse about being lazy and I'm thinking of asking gist questions before playing the song/verse and the some detailed at different points in the song. Then ask the class what they would like to do on a lazy day at the end? Do you think that would suffice?

Help appreciated thaaaanks

thanx nikki, that sounds like good advice as I do tend to worry alot and over complicate things lol, just need to get stuck in and do it and dont worry or stresss.

Checkpoint 4 was the same for me Cassie, I had to redo qu.2 :( But I did it thankfully.

Shelley, I didn't dare look CP3 as I was too scared to. I did a few other bits and then took a look at it, and got scared again, then went back to it and did it bit by bit. Just put your mind in 'simple' mode, don't think you need to answer with some thing too complicated, the answers are all in the previous modules but you may have to adapt some bits.  It will seem hopeless lol, but take each qu. one by one, I didn't even bother reading the next question incase I worried about it.

Good luck

Nikki

yeah im about to start check point 3 and i'm absolutely dreading it lol, keep putting it off but cant b put off forever lol

Thanks Cassie, that's great to know! Lol you only stared at it for 10mins?

Not long to go eh, but I am positive you have this sussed now!

Byeee x

Checkpoint 4 is a breeze in comparison to Checkpoint 3! I didn't have too much of a problem with it. I'm working on Checkpoint 5 now and it's a beast. Not sure it's a bad as checkpoint 3, but definitely not too far off!

Well done for passing Checkpoint 3! It was a total killer! I struggled on that one for about a week. I think I stared at each question blankly for 10 mins before even thinking of anything to say! The questions were worded well weirdly.

Well done Cassie!!

Is 4 worse than 3??
I actually passed 3 last night, 1st time to my amazement as I actually started working on it 10 days ago!!! Ok so I didn't work on it everday, but I found it a nightmare, but mostly because I over complicated it.

Lol I bet you will breeze through it!!

Good luck x
