About Me
Hi all! I'm 21 and about to start the journey of a lifetime. I just completed my degree in Psychology and turned down honours to do something completely out-of-character (stupid?). I start teaching in Indonesia in March 2010, location is still unknown!:) I'm from South Africa so adjustment should be simple, like living in the same circumstances. Look forward to meeting many of you next year!

Thanks Candice, hopefully we'll be able to meet up at some point, a friend of mine Richard from near where I live in the UK is going to Jakarta in March as well, we met on the TEFL course and have kept in touch since, so stay safe and keep in touch:)

Hi again, I am from Toronto, Canada. You?? I felt very 'rusty' as well going through the course but finished with confidence..although it has been a few months since I finished..hope I don't forget how to teach lol. I am nervous to, but so excited!

I am not there yet..but Im leaving for Indonesia in 3 weeks!! A little nervous, but so excited. I am going to be teaching in Serpong, outside of Jakarta. Let me know where you are going to be. Once I get there I'll let you know what I think! This seems like a great site to be able to share ideas and keep in touch with other teachers. Lets keep in touch for sure.
yeah! we are all pretty close, the house had a bbq tonite, you can read about it in tomorrows blog!
Oh wonderful!! I was just watching the video you posted 'My Friends' and it looks like a really tight knit family! Really hope I end up teaching there!!
Hi Candice, If you arrive in Gading Serpong that's where I am teaching! It's outside Jakarta which is nice, still close enough if you want to go in but we have everything we need here and there is good transport to nice places!
