Hey Candice,
On the China Internship you get a living allowance of RMB2,000, paid on the 10th of each month, plus a completion bonus at the end of the internship of RMB2,500 - it totals up to around AU$2,535 for the whole thing, depending on what the exchange rate's like.
It may not seem like loads, but as you get 3 free meals per day on school days and free accommodation, that money is pretty much just spending money. Plus, everything in China is super-cheap, so you should have plenty of cash to have some fun with!

Hey Candice! Glad to hear you're thinking about doing the China internship too! I'm still on the fence, can't seem to decide what the best course of action is but this is one of the options I'm considering for sure. Let me know if you decide to sign up and I"ll do the same. If we both decide to do it, we can keep in touch as we both prepare. Where do you live? I'm in eastern Canada (Nova Scotia to be exact)...
