My name is Erin, you looked like a trustworthy person to get some info from:) I'm hoping to get involved in the 2011 August China Internship. I've never done this before and I'm not sure what the order of operations will be yet. It looks like I have to pay for the TEFL course and fees up front, but then wait to hear back for approval and admittance? That seems backwards. Also, do you know if I'm still able to get in on this trip since it's the end of April? I don't know if that seems like enough time to complete the course, but I think I could make it happen!
I have a couple more burning questions, but we'll start with these for now:)
Thank you for taking the time to help!

Hi
Thanks for your message, I wouldn't rule out anywhere really and you make some good arguments for China... I am still not totally sure about doing the course as I have other options for the future I am also exploring and considering.
I had a friend who lived in China for a year and she seemed to love it so it can't be a bad place, think I say Spain because I think if I was to do the TEFL thing I would likely start in a country not a million miles away and see how things go at first before broading my horizon to further countries.
How long was you in China for? I assume you taught English there?
Yea, I was looking into going there. Looks awesome. Turns out to still be about 7 hours away by train though. My home town in England is by the sea too. So I would really like to go!
