How's life with you? Just want to pick your brains as my travel plans have changed in the last couple of weeks. I'm not doing the China Internship now, instead I'm taking a shorter break and going to work in a Hanoi Orphanage for 2 weeks in July, followed by 2-3 weeks of travelling in August before spending a couple of weeks in Bali. Can't quite decide what I want to do with the middle couple of weeks - discovering more of Vietnam or a speedy tour of Cambodia (or try to cram both in!). What were the highlights of Vietnam for you?
I love your photos from Vietnam and Thailand.....bring back wonderful memories for me having been there several times.
I have also completed my course (not through i-to-i) and am looking forward to a major life change. Have left my senior government job and decided to just go for it......am heading to China in August for 5-6 months and then........who knows.....hope to go to Vietnam again as i just LOVE it.
Good luck with your ventures wherever they take you!!
Erm, well I've managed half of one more module . . . not a good result really. But, my house has been full of visitors for the last week - so is that a good enough excuse for not getting on with it?! I've just cancelled all social activities for next week and fully intend to finish off two modules next week. I should warn you that you have now been appointed my official TEFL Motivator!
How's the Degree coming along? Are they still making you work full time whilst you're studying or is the course classed as part of your working time? The forces seem to be pretty good at preparing you for return to civilian life. I love the Forces outplacement service, I had dealings with them in a previous life. I had to recruit a load of engineers for a software company, we offered jobs to 3 personnel who were leaving the forces. Best flippin' engineers we ever had - no trouble, they just got on with the job. Sadly my boss wouldn't let me replace all the whining jessies we had with forces personnel - meanie!
Hiya,
Please send your secret to motivating yourself through the 120hrs of online learning! Have completed the first two modules and have hit 'learners block'. Hmm, maybe its because the next module is Grammar and that's the one I keep hearing is the hardest bit!
Well done on passing the full course.
Jane
