About Me

I am semi retired and teach family literacy as required. I love to travel and have been to South america Africa and Asia over the past 20 years. I enjoy playing tennis and love to read sat in the garden in the sun. I enjoy meeting people and I decided to do the TEFL course to give me extra choices but boy its tough. I'm trying to get to grips with tenses and phonics (as these were never taught in the 1970's!!

Hi Laura

Thanks for this I'm up to my ears in assignment three and feel I know nothing about English never mind teach it! I quite fancy Ecuador as been there twice for a month and to stay longer would be great.

Hey,

Welcome to Chalkboard. That's great you're interested in TEFL, have you thought about where you would like to go?

To get you started on the site you may want to take a look at the groups where you can read other peoples blogs and look at their photos and videos - this will give you a good feel for what teaching in different countries is like:

Good luck with the rest of your TEFL course and if you have any questions feel free to ask me :-)
