Wow, I've not been on this for ages and I've not used my TEFL qualification yet either. So what has been going on?
Well I got out of my admin job and am currently covering maternity in a school in Wales, teaching Welsh. This comes to an end soon, so the hunt starts again.
The plan as it stands is - End of November New Zealand here I come!
It's the 1st place me and my boyfriend have been equally enthusiastic about. Plan is to go, get a return flight for February and go from there....
So here are some questions I'd love some help with. What are the chances of me getting work in NZ? Where are the best places to look? As I don't necessarily need to return in Feb....

Hi, I'm from NZ, moved to Hong Kong late last year. What sort of work are you hoping to get in NZ? Teaching or just whatever you can get? It's a great place you 'll love it although it's true we can be a bit fanatical about the rugby!
Ha! Speaking as a fellow Welsh person I'd love to see you getting a NZer to pronounce Machynlleth! Might stop them bragging about the rugby for a minute, anyway... I must confess that when I had a Chilean boyfriend who'd learnt English in Bangor I used to tease him a bit, and get him to say Blaenau Ffestiniog just for fun! Is that cruel?
