Bangka, here we come!

It's 7.30 am and I'll be in Bangka in the next 24-hours. Yay!!!!!!!

Although I have my crazy student to teach today, I don't care. He will just take 1 hour from me and I can be happy again. Nobody can't take the happiness from me. Well, maybe the next meeting would be worse, let's face it another time.

I will enjoy the exotic beach. Eat seefood, drink coconut. Yeah, I just can't wait.

Although I can't spend the first day (which is the beach day) with my boyfriend because of his CRAZY and STUPID and IRRESPONSIBLE manager. I still hate her! And will always hate her. It's a good news though that I don't have to come to EF Gading Serpong ever again and meet her for the rest of my life because we don't have any business with them again.

Ok, will stop talking about that crazy manager.

Bangka is a beautiful place. And the city isn't 'too city' like Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, or any other big cities in Indonesia. You still can enjoy the traditional life even when you stay in city.

The place that we will stay for the first night is Parai Beach Hotel (you can Google it for pictures). It has calm beach and big rocks that make the view even more beautiful. The water sport that they have is parasailings and banana boats. Maybe now, they willl add more water sports. The last time I went there was before 2005. We can reach the hotel about 2 hours from the airport. And don't worry, the view along the way is worth it to enjoy.

If you go there, just make sure that you get enough personal supplies. Because there were only view supermarket or mini market there (in Parai, I mean, and please remember it was before 2005). Personal stuffs like medicines, sunblocks, batteries, etc. And for drinks, usually the hotel provide you with 2 big bottles (1.5 liters each) for one night I think (I never stay longer than one night there). You better get your personal stuffs outside Bangka because the price would be higher than Jakarta or any big cities.

For transport there, you can hire a car and a driver for about 300k IDR per 12 hours. Or if you dare, you can hire a bike there, but make sure you can read map because I don't think that Bangka people can speak English because most of the tourists come from Asian countries and they can speak Mandarin a little bit.

Ok, I think that's all for now. Just wait for may blog after my journey there. I wish I can upload a lot of pictures from there (just cross your finger that the network here cooperates with me). Nad maybe some videos.
