I just got text from Rob that he maybe will not join our journey next week to Bangka because the office just tell him that the leaves that he has left is not enough. It was so weird. They already approve it like 3 months ago, now they wanted to cancel it in 1 week.

Unfortunately, it's unrefundable flight as the price is a promotional flight by the best airline in Indonesia.

That company is weird and now they ask Rob to wait until tomorrow. They just exploit their workers and turn them in evil devil among each other. They give a lot of things to do with short notice and tight deadline and you're dead if you don't finish it on time.

And all they want is your money. When all the company give you living allowance, they cut it from your salary and you have to pay for the maid, the phone bills, your health (they only give you 75 USD per contract which very low even for local people), and transport (although yeah the house is quite near for work). And you have to pay penalty (which is a lot more than your monthly salary) when you break the contract.

Last but not least (this is a CONSIDERABLE thing for you who wants to join this company), you have to pay for your own additional cost you spend in Singapore (visa thing) although it was the company's mistake that they didn't get your document there on time.

Nice company, huh?

Well, the one thing I have to give thanks to this company is that the fact that Rob and I met there.

So, what do think? Any suggestion for Rob to face this company? (for only 2 weeks and several days left)
