I was excited!

Last night, I went out with Rob (my bf) and his friends to a café called Cheers (selling German and international food) in Karawaci (a place that is nearest from where we live which some foreigners from western countries and some Asian countries live too). Rob and I arrived about 45 minutes before the others did. So we sat outside the café and enjoyed the little park view from there. Just before the others came, we ordered foods and a beer to share. I didn’t order mineral water because it cost me 13k rupiah which is almost 5 times than the usual price (crazy huh?!, well I thought it might be international brand, but still, I don’t want to try it).

The night went well and I felt fun talking with everybody about things (cannot remember the conversation though, hehe). And we had shisha (smoking things with flavors). I didn’t use it because I just can’t use it, can’t blow a lot smokes after use that and it’s not fun for me. So I just enjoyed others using shisha as they made a lot of smokes and played with it.

After everybody finished the meal, two guys (Ashur and Stewart) went inside the café. Stewart wanted to sing on the stage so we just wait outside until the time was right. Then, my phone vibrated. I thought my mom must be called me and asked me to go home. But it’s from someone else. I usually didn’t answer a phone call from unknown number. So I asked Rob whether I should answer it or not. Then he said yes. So I picked it up. And it was from someone speaking English to me. I was so excited. I mean, I just spread my resumes this afternoon and there was someone calling me already.

But unfortunately, the signal was not so good plus the busy surrounding sound (people singing and chattering). So all the conversation was about introduction, I even cannot hear very well the name. He asked me whether I am looking for teaching job. And I said yes. He asked me for how long and where exactly I am teaching now. But once again, because of the network signal, the conversation ended. It was nice of him calling me several times. Then finally, he asked me whether I have a Skype account, then I said yes (I mean my bf has it, but I can use it, hehe). So, the conversation was delay up to tonight 10.30pm.

Rob is pretty sure that it was an interview. But, I still feel weird and too fast. Yeah, we’ll see what will happen tonight. And if it is an interview, wish me luck!
