Checkpoint One is about seating arrangements, approaches and methods, and a few other things I think. Best thing to do is open your first attempt, copy and paste the questions into Word, then "Save Without Submitting" and close the checkpoint. This is like saving it without using an attempt and allows you to not have to feel like you're cramming answers into the checkpoint.
My Russian is iffy anymore. I do better reading than speaking or listening. My vocabulary is non-existance anymore really though with learning Serbian. While they are both Cyrillic based languages, they are quite different. It's an interesting task to say the least. I've seen some of the Veena and Neena videos. Never used them but I think they are pretty good. And if you want to know some different languages, private message me on here. I've got some things for you maybe. Even some nice things for Italian too.
Hey! So nice to meet you also! You sound very interesting too, keep sharing your experiences :)
P.S. I'm going to take up pilates this week too
I will agree with that.. I'm slowly beginning to think in Serbian with what Serbian I know. My biggest thing is not being able to retain vocabulary for some reason. It's quite annoying. He's beginning to make me speak in Serbian more. But he kind of stopped pushing it knowing I'll have to put Serbian aside a little when I move to Ukraine as I'll have to work on my Russian again there. Just back and forth between the two. He said he'd help me maintain my Serbian while I'm in Ukraine of course.
What DVD set did you get?! Belly dancing is so great! It's fun, quite the workout, and can be used in so many ways... XD
I can read Serbian better than speaking. I just can't think in Serbian enough and have had troubles maintaining vocabulary to speak. But i can read it and write it much better than speak it. I had thought about a Serbian course, but Nemanja said he didn't know of any that would be worth the money because they are outrageously priced here.
Question for you... when learning Italian, did you take courses or just pick it up from being around it?
Tag! You're it!
