So after a hectic day at work I decided to browse over any new emails I received over the past few days and finally received my invitation letter from i-to-i. All would be well except for the fact I've been so wrapped up in finishing my summer holiday work that I totally spaced how close to the China date we actually are! I haven't prepared anything! I haven't even started thinking about moving out of my apartment... not to mention how I am going to get the embassy to apply for the visa in the next few days. I think it is finally starting to hit me that I will be in China in less than a MONTH! I wouldn't have even known it was so soon until my boss asked if I left in two weeks or three! I just stood dumbfounded wondering where all the time went. I am so excited to get this adventure started and can't wait to meet all of my fellow interns. Just hoping everything sorts itself out with minimal stress!

Thanks for the support! Definitely needed at this point. Yes I have to fly to get my visa and simply can't seem to figure out when it will be possible to take 2 days off! But you're right once we board the plane nothing else will matter! I hope everything works out getting with your visa process, three hours doesn't seem like a big time frame to work with :) See you Beijing... I'll be there a bit earleir to do the weekend course!
Don't worry Kaleigh, it'll all fall into place in the end :) I'm finishing up work on Friday so granted I'll have more time to sort out everything! Still not got my visa yet as in Ireland the Chinese office opens 4 days a week for a 3 hour period!! Total crazy! I'm nervous too but we'll be grand once we board our flights! I'm arriving on the 23rd :)
