Sorry to just be replying - I have just come back from holiday. 


As this is elementary level it should be future simple :-)


There are minimum requirements to pass each checkpoints.  In addition to this your tutor may feel you will benefit from resubmitting certain elements.  You get three attempts for each checkpoint - so don't worry. Any resubmission requests are there to benefit you and hopefully your future teaching!

Four and Five are tutor marked.  I do not think grammar is but I can't remember.  If you have specialized modules like young learners and such, those are quizzes and tutor marked.  If you have the video practice, those are tutor marked as well.

You can also say how you'd correct it aside from teacher correction. I cannot remember what my answers were.


I'm from the US but living in Serbia for now.  Headed to Ukraine in two weeks for my first job.

You're right on the tense part.  As for the cause... think about it being a beginner. There could be a couple of reasons.. mother tongue interference and also lack of grammar knowledge.  They are only beginners.


I'm almost done.  I'm finishing up some video practices and three specialized assessments. I'm running out of time though.  7 days left on the course.  Been so busy prepping for my move.
