Grrrrrrrr-ammar

I thought I was good at english!

Well I'm not too bad but my head seems to have gone a little fuzzy over the years for some reason. Actuallly I think my mind has been wandering a little. I've noticed I keep forgetting simple things I really should know. I also leave a room to get something and just stand there trying to remember why I've come in, fine when I'm on my own. I can't blame old age just yet I'm only in my 20's afterall. So with age in mind and school not being THAT far behind me.

I've been staring at the results of excercise 22 for the best part of an hour trying to recall my primary school days. English was always my favorite subject but I seem to remember banging the dusters, and collecting cans, bake sales, gymnastics, fun runs and staring out of windows but not an awfull lot of grammar unfortunatly. Even thinking back to secondary school, I remember being in the class's but can't recall a single usefull piece of information. It's sort of like it either stuck in my head or it's lost somewhere in space.

I can't be the only person experiencing this surely, can I?!

Well I'm going to have one more look at my notes and possibly try again. Now If I can just find those pieces of paper I put down a minute ago...

I can relate to all this:))

Hi Amie

I see you've decided to blog your way through the course, which I appreciate.  I've just started my own so seeing the thoughts of another person will help keep me in perspective I believe. I'm a tad older so schools a bit farther behind me. I expect I'll be challenged by the grammar section, but I'm looking forward to it.  Grammar was never my favorite part of English, so I think conquering that part of the course will be quite motivating.
