Are you still going?

Hey,
You're fine - you've definitely completed all 120 hours and I think you're doing your classroom TEFL course in Bangkok right?
Good luck in Thailand!
Hey Andrea,
I've just double-checked with our courses team and apparently Masako (the coordinator for the Thailand internship) is being sent all your certificates directly in order to get your visas sorted. So, she'll give you the hard copy of your certificate once you arrive in Thailand in May.
Hope that all makes sense - sorry if this is the first you've heard of it - I'm going to check with Masako that this has been made clear to all interns.
Hey there, I see you're doing the Thailand internship in May next year also... I'm just a little bit excited for it! I am definitely using this to put off the real world a bit longer... but that said, I did a BA, so my career options are few! Anyway, good to connect with a fellow Aussie who's going, someone to rely on for when my vegemite stash runs out! (I've been travelling since September, and normally I don't eat it all that much, but now, because I can't get it, it's been all I've been thinking about! Will definitely take a jar with me... assuming I can buy bread in Thailand... haha)
Hiya, First thing I would say is the Thai kids level of english is very low..well in this school anyway...so flashcards are going to be useful! I have got mine from mes-english.com. Any relia from home so you can do a lesson on who you are and where you come from would be good like a flag, map maybe. The kids seem to be bored easily so I am going to have to find fun ways to get them interested like videos and music or something and there is no room in the classes to get them up moving so its going to have to be visual info. Also I didn't have chalk or pens for the boards so I would sugget bringing them too and I would love to have some sort of english teaching book as we don't have a curriculum to work off...base it on conversation english as its speaking and listening they want to learn - at my school they have a Thai teacher for the grammar and me for speaking - however i don't think things are the same everywhere...I will keep you updated on other stuff - I am sure there will be loads as its only 4 days in! x
Hi Andrea! I'm seriously considering the Thailand internship. The more I read about it, the more I would love to do it! I feel like it's now or never. Is there a deadline for when you have to sign up? I'm guessing I need to make a decision soon. Are you planning on traveling after you leave Thailand?? That's awesome you live in Australia by the way..i've always wanted to go. Would love to chat!
