(continued...)  In the end, it's all a matter of where you want to go and if you can afford it.  Salaries might be amazing but if you have bills back home, then you need to make sure you make enough to cover them and the bills you'll endure in the foreign country. If you have no bills or very few, then more luxurious places with lower pay could and can be much more rewarding.  So you might not be able to save a ton, but the experiences, memories, and pictures you'll get to do and share with everyone else will be well worth the cut in pay. :)

You want further training?  Look into TEFLInstitute.com or look into CELTA.  TEFL Institute will require 20 hours of practicum work, which means 20 hours of being with a local ESL/EFL teacher and observing/tutoring/student teaching that has to be logged.  It will give you an insight into American structure, also, which will help in some countries. This gives you a well-rounded perspective on both sides of most structures within schools.  CELTA is something for those that definitely want to make TEFL a life long career.  Definitely pricey, nothing online either. It's an in-person course.  But from my understanding, it is well worth it. 

Schools and salaries all depend on what country you want to go to.  Spain and France will be easier for you since you hold an EU passport. Some schools will still require you to have a university degree.  But that's all case by case with the school.  Asia is the doorway it seems.  Just about anyone can find work there with hardly any problems.  Just depends on where in Asia.  Middle East-Asia is predominently looking for male teachers, unless you try for schools in Kuwait, Oman, UAE, and Bahrain. The pay is amazing there, but it's definitely a different culture.  You won't get to go home for Christmas and such like that, so if that's important to you, definitely avoid that area.
