Hi can u help me with check point 4 (b).
Describe an activity which would help your students learn more about the country and increase their cultural awareness. Avoid lecturing or simply giving out information; ensure students are involved in the learning process.
Many thanks.
Congrats, wow wish i was there, still trying.
Hi Annachen, I'm sorry but I think it would be better if you asked one of the TEFL experts if you are stuck. I am busy with Buisness English and Grammar awareness at the moment, so don't really have the time to help you, There are experts here who could help you much more than I could. Best Wishes
Hi, Alan, I choose the same topic as yours-"hobbies". Can I email your my work and help me see what's wrong?
Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!
Hi Mullins, If you choose the same lesson plan as I did, for the Lead in/Warmer phase you need to revise the students understanding of the adverbs of frequency. I did it by eliciting from them how often they do various everyday actions (eg."I often eat cheese, I rarely eat fish" etc. Hope this helps
Hi alan im just wondering what did you do for the lead in part of this question?
Hi Annachen, I had a bit of trouble with this question too. Basically what you need to do is a lesson plan, following the layout of the examples in the Module. I chose the "hobbies" lesson. You should start off by revising the adverbs of frequency to make sure that the students have remembered them. This is your "warmer" phase. Then you move on to the presentation stage and introduce the vocabulary of hobbies. You can do this with flashcards, then worksheets etc for controlled practice. After this you can do a plenary stage, where you check that the students have understood the new vocabulary of hobbies. Then you can do more practice eg pair work with a worksheet, gap-fill exercise. Remember you need to go through the stages "Presentation, Practice, Production", and you will need to come up with your own ideas about what activities you would use. Hope this helps, if you follow the examples you should be fine. (and don't forget to include the "Interaction" and "timings" of each stage. Best wishes and good luck :))
Congratulations!!
I am stuck in CP5,Q8 for more than one month and with only one chance. Just a last question for my whole course. Would you give me some tips about this question? I can show your my answers. SOS!!!! Thanks!~~
Hi Jessica, I found the course enjoyable, some parts were a bit tricky but I didn't really get stuck anywhere, so didn't need to ask for help. I will think about any tips I can offer you and let you know :)
Congratulations!! How did you find it? Can I ask, when you were stuck did you email for help? Do you have any tips? :)
