Hi there! Been searching for jobs for a month or so but although I have teaching experience as a training assessor I have no degree! Is there anywhere that accepts applications without one. This is hopefully going to be a life change for me and not just a sabbatical so panicked I've set my heart on something unobtainable!
Thanks, Aims

Oh, but I'd like to state that while that's a useful chart, I really don't recommend paying to be placed in any school (which is the aim of that website).
I found this the other day, that might be of some help. I hope South America was on your list of places to go :) http://www.tefljobplacement.com/jobs_glance.php I don't know how accurate it is, as it lists China as needing a degree but there are people on here with Z visas that don't have one.
Something that might also help, in some places it is possible to substitute work experience in a degree. I remember from when I was working (in a completely different field though) in the USA that my years of experience got rated towards a masters degree. So have a look into that as well. Stipulate in a cover letter that you have x amount years of experience that would easily have earned oyu a degree.
with no degree is does limit you on choices BUT it doesnt mean you cant get a job...
sometimes the degree is a requirement for the Visa, such as in Japan, this means that there is no way around it (unless you get a spouse visa)
Some jobs it can also relate to your nationality - i have heard of cases in asia whereby people have not been employed because the employer wanted a 'real' english person...
age can also be a problem - the older you are (especially around 45+) you have to work much harder in selling yourself but again this is another topic heavily discussed on here...
have you tried asking i-to-i or even checking their website because they have information on a lot of common countries that people teach in - it will tell you if you need a degree or not!
This is probably the most asked question on Chalkboard and, as such, it has been answered many times before.
The list of countries where you can legally teach without a degree is rapidly decreasing. Currently your best bets are China, Ecuador, Cambodia (note that much of the teaching here is voluntary) and I believe Costa Rica is also an option. And if you have a passport from an EU member state, the whole of Europe is open to you.
Note though that no matter where in the world you apply, there will always be some schools who will insist on you having a degree.
