Hi I am Angus Yu currently living in Scotland. Based on my recent visits to China, I can testify that the demand for English teachers there is indeed buoyant. I have been asked by schools and friends for native English speaking TEFL teachers. They do require any applicant to have a BA or MA degree plus a TEFL certificate. If the applicant has previous experience in school-level teaching and in particularly in A-level courses that will be very welcome. If anyone is thinking to go to China to teach English and not sure about anything, you are welcome to contact me (1025960[at]gmail com). I will be happy to assist in anyway I can.
