Step 1
Students sit down in a group around or in front of you.
Step 2
Hold flashcards in your card, but hidden from the students. Call out a name of the animal.
Step 3
Children should mime the animal with noises or actions.
Step 4
If you working on a points system, you can give the student with the best action/noise a point.
Step 5
Show the students the animal they were miming.
Step 6
If you call a name and they do nothing. Say the name again, if this doesn't work, slowly show the picture of the animal until 1 student gets it.
Top Tips:
- It's a high action activity to get your students out of their seat and PLAY whilst learning.
- Have lots of fun
