Hiya! Sorry for the late-ish reply, I have been pretty idle on chalkboard this last week.  how are you?  Is your visa sorted, sorry to hear you had some problems, it's really bad the China guys seem pretty dis-orgainsed.  i was fairly lucky on the visa front, i was fortunate to have one of the visa apps sent to me with the info added in already.  i think it's mental they didn't just send that to everyone!  Crazy fools!

Anyway, 2 weeks now! wooo!!  Excitment, I finally got most of my gear sorted, it's just whether I can compact everything into a huge rucksack, and carry it!!  Yeah; I plan to travel after the internsip.  i'll defo check out other parts of China while the visa is good, and then I plan to move on to other parts of Asia.  I can't wait to see it all:0D  I was one of the nutters who requested being close to Beijing!!!  Let's say, I appear to have not researched the weather well, lol.  So I'm think I better pack a wolly hat!! Lol

definitely not set for the 23rd but im sure everything will get itself in order in no time... or at least i hope! visa is in the mail, waited too long to get all the vaccinations but i will get the first few rounds just to make sure, whoops! when do you get into beijing? how is everything going for you?

Prep is going ok but I still havent had my visa back so still a bit worried about that.  Next thing to do is figure out what money to take and such I think, then what to pack.  Just checked the weather and its pretty hot out there at the moment!  How are you?

Hey Adam, my preparations are going well so far. I think the biggest challenge will be trying to take appropriate clothing and fitting those and toiletries, electricals and supporting books in my backpack!!! Urrrghhh!!!

So at least I know Vaibhav exists and they didn't just spell my name incorrectly lol

How are you?  Ever excited?  I'm a big ball of fluff about it, all excited, and even starting to look at my city in a better light, with all the joy and all!! Lol.  I have pretty much everything, but confidence in grammar, sorted.  Saying that I have a list of small things to do; insurance cover, getting a proper heavy duty ruch sack, and sifting through the clothes!  Oo o oo, and sun block!  So not much really!  Can't believe it's all happening now.  How are your parents coping as it gets closer, (the holiday they planned to re-cover :oD)  That made me laugh.
