“The following is the questionnaire that you sent me I hope it is a help. I would be glad to help out as it is a wonderful experience.
Why did you decide to start teaching English?
I have always wanted to teach so a friend recommended this to me as I was unemployed after college and I jumped at the chance.
Did you do a TEFL course before you started teaching?
Yes I completed the 140 hour TEFL course.
Where are you originally from?
I am from Ireland.
What attracted you to Poland?
TEFL offered an internship for first time teachers in Poland. I also wanted to experience a different culture so where better to start than in the center of East Europe.
What age kids/adults are you teaching?
Range of ages from 5years to 70+.
What were they like?
A lot of different personalities in each class but it makes it all the more interesting!!
How are you finding the experience of teaching in Poland?
Wonderful. I didn’t imagine that I would feel this comfortable teaching in Poland but everyone is so welcoming here and the other staff members are so supportive it makes the experience very enjoyable.
How would you rate the experience out of 10?
Definitely 9 out of 10.

Apart from the reasons above, this experience has given me the opportunity to travel as well as build on my teaching experience and gain valuable ‘on the job’ knowledge.
