You think you know someone…then you get a box of cupcakes delivered to your place of work and the box gets stolen and no one owns up!
Normally this bunch of people working at i-to-i are honest, good natured and generally mean well in all that they put their minds to.
Today however, is my (Katie’s) birthday – yes, thank you Happy Birthday to me indeed – and I ordered a nice little box of 12 cupcakes to be delivered here to i-to-i Towers and they were due to arrive anytime between 11am-1pm. Naturally one eye was trained on the door all morning (even though we have a door bell to alert us of lovely visitors) and the other eye was busy at work of course.
Doorbell rang! Cupcakes are here! And they’re BEAUTIFUL, too good to eat? No.
I go out for lunch leaving the box on my desk, it’s a secure place, I trust my colleagues.
I come back (and remember it’s my BIRTHDAY) and the cupcakes are gone and all I get is an email from the cupcakes with the following plea for help:
“I ran away
I don’t want to be eaten
but I have changed my mind, please find me!!!”

Cupcakes have been stolen and hidden…not happy.
Luckily there are some nice people left in the world and Kath the heroic cleaner locates the cupcakes under a certain member of staff’s desk (who shall not be named as we’re not certain if the staff member yet was involved – the jury is out).
There was much excitement and I was ambushed in the hurry to get one before they all went! Through the crumbs flying everywhere there were a few ‘Happy Birthday’s'…but not enough for my liking.
