Overview

Nestled amidst the magnificent Himalayas, Nepal has some of the world’s best hiking trails. The paths weave through villages and cross deep gorges surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. But there’s so much more to the country: from white water rafting on the River Seti, to the madness of Kathmandu and the tranquility of Chitwan National Park.

Nepal has been in a state of uncertainty since the Monarchy was abolished in May 2008. The new government is drawing up a constitution which will shape the country’s future for years to come: these are insecure but exciting times at the top of the world.
