How to teach Vocabulary (4-5 hrs approx)

A very important process. With only a few words it is possible to convey meaning.

What's covered?

• How to present vocabulary to students, for example, through miming, drawing a picture or using objects
• How to check that the students have grasped the concept of the work
• How to review vocabulary
• Special techniques for teaching vocabulary to elementary students
• Additional vocabulary activities such as brainstorming around a key word, memory games, crosswords etc

Tasks

• One mini-task (not submitted to tutor)
• Three tasks submitted automatically to tutor and returned to you marked within 24 hours (Monday to Friday):
• 1. Matching exercise
• 2. Descriptive exercise
• 3. Questions
