How does the online course work?
The basic online course is broken down into 10 modules, each of which covers a different aspect of language teaching and learning. The modules are completed one at a time and in order as follows:
How do you do the online course?
- Login to your account and begin your 1st module- you can always save it and come back to it later.
- Once you complete your module, you will submit it through your online account.
- Your tutor will assess your work and provide you with constructive feedback.
- You’re then able to continue to the next module
- If there are ever any problems, you will receive adequate feedback and 2 more tries to work on it. You can always ask your tutor for advice!
What sort of assignments will I be given?
The modules will be a combination of multiple choice, short paragraphs, fill-in-the blank, and lesson plans. Each module will also have an accompanying audio book and video so you can see TEFL theories put into practice.
Will I have to do an exam?
The 10 modules function as assignments that you need to complete; therefore, there is no examination. You’ll pass the course based on your completion of all 10 modules.
How do the courses differ?
We offer a wide range of TEFL courses to ensure all our tutees receive the training they need to feel most confident in their first TEFL classroom. While the 40 hour online course qualifies you to teach English abroad, a more extensive course can increase your qualification, skills, and job scope overseas.

How to teach Speaking and Writing Skills (1-2 hrs approx)
A series of activities and games designed to help your students speak and write English.
How to teach Reading and Listening Skills (4-5 hrs approx)
Learn how to plan and deliver engaging and informative skills lessons.
Games & Lesson Planning (5-6 hrs approx)
A well-prepared lesson plan is vital in the classroom and gives you all the confidence you’ll need to make a success of your TEFL career.
