Get TEFL’ed and Learn to Teach English!
How do you qualify for ILA Scotland funding? It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…Here goes:
- Are you 16 or over?
- Do you earn £18,000 or less?
- Do you live in Scotland?
Once ILA Scotland have approved your funding you can start learning new skills, having new experiences and if you choose, have a new job teaching abroad! Rather stay at home? Learn how two of our Scottish graduates used their TEFL qualifications in their local community.
Just follow these simple steps to get your ILA Scotland funding
1. Request an application pack – Free number! Call ILA Scotland on 0808 100 1090.2. Fill it in and send it off – Free postage! Complete the application form and return it in the enclosed pre-paid envelope.
3. Just wait for your welcome pack! Once ILA Scotland sets up your learner account, they’ll send you your welcome pack. This will include your account card and account number with which you book your course.

Choose your course and give us a call!As soon as your account’s set up, you can choose your course! Check out our weekend TEFL courses and online TEFL courses to decide what your funding should go towards and just give us a ring to book with your ILA Scotland account number!
After booking your course, ILA Scotland will send you a ‘learning token’. Make sure you post it to us before starting your course!
