About me
I started my TEFL career by accident as I was living in Germany with very little knowledge of German and I needed a job where I could speak English. I suddenly found myself sat in a classroom with stockbrokers wanting to practice their business English skills.
My first teaching qualification was a weekend course, which gave me the confidence to be able to step into a classroom with a few ideas of student’s expectations and some tricks up my sleeve to keep the students focused and motivated. After finding my initial experience in Germany extremely rewarding my next destination was China where I taught all ages and levels and also completed my CELTA certificate. Now I’m back in the UK teaching one to one and small groups and I am currently working towards my DELTA qualification.
