Our people
Our people are what make us what we are. They answer the phones. They look after the website. They teach our TEFL courses. They make sure we’re all happy doing our jobs. They buy the raisin and cinnamon bagels for the kitchen. And Kath - our lovely cleaner - makes sure we don’t leave sweetie wrappers and coffee cups all over the place.
Our TEFL Tutors
All our TEFL tutors have at least 3 years experience of teaching English abroad. Most of them have loads more. So not only will they be great tutors and do all they can to help you pass your course, they'll also be there to give you first hand advice on finding TEFL jobs abroad.
We have loads of TEFL tutors working across the world. You can find out more about them here.
Our TEFL Customer Support team
Our TEFL customer support team are supportive, which is pretty much what you’d want from a support team really. Once you’ve signed onto your course or applied for a TEFL job abroad they’ll be there to answer any questions you have and iron out any problems. And they’ll stick your certificates and stuff in the post too.
Who’s who in TEFL customer support?
Emma Earnshaw – Our leader and Mummy of the team who always makes sure there’s enough biscuits to keep everyone going
Jill Drysdale – The fountain of all knowledge, current i-to-i bake off champion and Blue Peter presenter of the office
Emily Smithies – Executive social butterfly of the team who looks after the whole office
Jennifer Green – The queen of fancy dress and our angel of the north
Sheri Lawal – speaks quietly, secretly admires Michael Jackson and rice cakes
Kara Graham – Works on TEFL Helpdesk, has travelled around the world and once cut herself on Phil Lynott’s hair

Our TEFL advisors
Our TEFL advisors are the people you’ll speak to when you call to ask about a course or a TEFL job. Some people would call them salespeople, but they’re not pushy like those telesales types that always seem to call while you’re having your dinner. They’re more likely to give you advice about TEFL, so we call them TEFL advisors. Makes sense to us.
Who are our TEFL Advisors?
Justine Keenan – She is the beautiful boss of the TEFL advisors!
Dave Renaud – He’s the team leader and has a personalised number plate, but don’t hold that against him
Rachel Carney – Travelled around India on a train with her friend Jenny
Rebecca Draper – Rebecca speaks very quietly and dresses beautifully
Sarah Harrison – With the tidiest desk in the office and a spot of OCD, Sarah's been nicknamed 'Monica'
Laura Hunt – Is a scouser and can often be heard crying when Everton lose
Emma Duffy – She’s the yummy mummy of the team!
Nichola Woodhead – Glamour puss of the team, once you call her you’ll be on the phone for hours
Natasha Cox – We don’t see her that much, you can usually find her at the gym if she’s not here.
Claire Chambers – Originally from England, she now manages i-to-i Australia and New Zealand
Hayley Cairns – Works in our Australia office and is one of our go to experts for TEFLers down under

Our Boss
This is Gemma Turner. She’s our boss. She loves to travel and she’s been with the i-to-i family for nearly 5 years now... So we made her boss!
Our Offices
We’ve got three offices. The one in Leeds has the best local chip shop. The one in Ireland has got the best local pub. And our Australia office is only a 10 minute tram journey to the beach. Everyone is trying to get a transfer to the Aussie office!
